Paraguay
Paraguay advances in its commitments to the Kigali Amendment.
A regulatory framework was developed to allow the commercialization and use of low Global Warming Potential (GWP) refrigerants. Furthermore, basic, intermediate and advanced level seminars were held on good practices for the safe use of flammable substances in refrigeration and air conditioning equipment. Energy efficiency and the use of low-GWP alternative substances like ammonia and CO2 were promoted during various seminars with international experts.
