This year's summit on 20 and 21 May will focus on sustainable cooling and heating in buildings. Two days full of insightful keynotes, presentations, lively discussions and new impressions are awaiting. 

The shift towards sustainable refrigeration containers is gaining momentum, and last Wednesday, the second "Greener Reefers" Workshop in Hamburg brought together key stakeholders to accelerate this transition. The workshop served as a crucial step in strengthening this collaborative effort. Attendees included representatives from Wageningen Food & Biobased Research, Thermo King, Dole Europe GmbH, Carrier Transicold, Greensee, and Universitat Politècnica de València. Their expertise and commitment to sustainability set the stage for productive discussions and tangible next steps.

Association Burundaise de Froid (ABF) regroupe des techniciens du secteur de réfrigération et climatisation. Elle regroupe des techniciens de différentes régions dans le but de développer le secteur conformément aux normes en vigueur. Grâce à l`appui des partenaires du Protocole de Montréal sur les substances appauvrissant la couche d`ozone, l`Association Burundaise de Froid (ABF) fait régulièrement des formations des techniciens et la sensibilisations des partenaires du secteur RAC sur l`utilisation des réfrigérants alternatifs naturels comme le R290, R600a, R717.Cela constitue un des principaux engagements de l`ABF depuis la ratification de l`Amendement de Kigali. Ces réfrigérants sont déjà utilisés sur le marché burundais en climatisation, réfrigération domestique et commerciale et en réfrigération industrielle et participent dans le développement de ces applications. L`ABF prépare aussi la mise en place d`un système de certification des techniciens en collaboration avec les autres associations régionales. …
