Cela fait maintenant 25 ans que Proklima se fait l’avocat d’une protection intégrée du climat et de la couche d’ozone dans le secteur du froid au niveau mondial et met les fluides réfrigérants naturels et les agents d’expansion au cœur de ses activités.

Proklima conseille le ministère fédéral allemand de la Coopération économique et du Développement (BMZ)

Le conseil politique, le renforcement des capacités, la sensibilisation et le transfert de compétences sont au centre des activités de Proklima. Sur mandat du Ministère allemand de la Coopération économique et du Développement (BMZ), le programme soutient le gouvernement allemand dans tous les processus bilatéraux et multilatéraux liés au protocole de Montréal.

Proklima soutient le ministère fédéral de la Coopération économique et du développement (BMZ) par des conseils techniques et politiques et participe aux réunions et conférences du protocole de Montréal, telles que la réunion des parties (MOP), le groupe de travail à composition non limitée (OEWG) et le comité exécutif (EXCOM).

Par le biais de publications et d'événements, Proklima informe aussi bien les professionnels et le grand public sur les derniers développements en matière de refroidissement efficace et de réfrigérants naturels respectueux de l'environnement. L'une de ses activités principales est le cours "Cool Training" sur l’utilisation sûre des réfrigérants naturels, destiné aux formateurs, aux techniciens et aux décideurs politiques du monde entier. Il est offert plusieurs fois par an en coopération avec l'institut de formation professionnelle Bundesfachschule Kälte-Klima-Technik (BFS) en Allemagne.

Pro­tect­ing the en­vir­on­ment through end-of-life man­age­ment of RAC ap­pli­ances

GIZ Proklima and the Ozone Technical Unit (UTO) of the Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development of Colombia, carry out activities aimed at evaluating alternatives for the correct final management of the RAC equipment and the refrigerant substances they contain.

These include recovery of the refrigerant gas, disassembly of the equipment for the transformation and recovery of the extracted materials, and regeneration of the recovered refrigerant. The operation of one of the regeneration centers of the National Refrigerant Recovery, Recycling and Regeneration Network of Colombia has been strengthened, increasing its capacity through a unit capable of regenerating refrigerant gas mixtures. In 2019, two industrial degassing machines will be donated to the post-consumer program of household appliances Red Verde, which will allow the recovery and separation ofoil and refrigerant gases contained in refrigerators more efficiently.

Thus, UTO and GIZ Proklima, through the project "Management and Destruction of ozone depleting substances in ODS banks", from the International Climate Initiative (IKI) (Ouvrira une nouvelle fenêtre) of the Federal Ministry of the Environment, Nature Protection and Nuclear Safety of Germany (BMU) (Ouvrira une nouvelle fenêtre), seek to strengthen each of the stages that are part of the end-of-life management of refrigerant substances and RAC equipment, seeking to follow the foundations of the circular economy defined in Colombia's 9Rs (Ouvrira une nouvelle fenêtre), and achieving a significant reduction of the resulting emissions from the ODS and HFC banks.
