Product: Re­cip­roc­at­ing com­pressor for sub­crit­ical CO2 ap­plic­a­tion

Bitzer’s OCTAGON SL series of semi hermetic reciprocating compressors have cooling capacities ranging from 2.7 and 80 kW (–35° C/–5° C) for different subcritical applications. Bitzer’s CO2 compressors have been boasting with an efficient suction gas-cooled motor, high-quality valve plates, wear-resistant drive gears as well as adjustable capacity control since 1988. The OCTAGON SL compressor series offers improved energy efficiency, and the application limits were pushed to a higher condensing temperature whilst the admissible pressure load was expanded on the high and low-pressure side (53/30 bar).
