This campus has approximately eight groups that are involved with refrigeration and air conditioning, each group consists of approximately 40 students.

In the Laboratory of Thermal Machines of this institution, training is provided on refrigeration and air conditioning systems, internal combustion engines, thermal turbines, steam generators and thermal plants. The laboratory is made up of square and triangular duct installations, as well as ventilation systems, air conditioning and a refrigeration equipment for tests and failures adapted by interface to a PC, so that students can monitor their operation, detect and maintain common anomalies.

In 2017, the school undertook a comprehensive project to equip this laboratory with state-of-the-art technology, given the identified needs for highly qualified human resources in the refrigeration and air conditioning industries.
