National Inventory Reports (NIRs) enable the systematic accounting of GHG emissions. The presented worksheet helps Parties estimate HFC emissions in the refrigeration and air-conditioning (RAC) sector, using the simplified Tier 1 top-down approach . It utilizes data that is commonly reported to the Ozone Secretariat under Art. 7 – available from the National Ozone Unit. The worksheet allows data entry of pure HFC substance and blends. It provides an overview of all GHGs, with data easily transferable to the IPCC Inventory Software. This Module provides a step-by-step guidance on how to fill the Worksheet and a separate quick guide to the IPCC inventory software for Tier 1 RAC sector emissions reporting utilizing Art 7 data.
