On May 12, 2022, GIZ and The Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT) met to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) which promotes the use of natural refrigerants. 

04/05/2022 Actualité Innovate4Climate Workshop: Raising GHG mitigation ambition in the cooling sector 

On May 26, 2022 at 12:10 pm (EDT)/  4:10 pm (GMT/UTC)  a virtual workshop will be held on: Raising greenhouse gas (GHG) mitigation ambition in the cooling sector by aligning Montreal Protocol and Paris Agreement agenda. The workshop forms part of the agenda of the annual Innovate4Climate (I4C) conference.

Mr. Ardalan Asadi is a representative of Fajr Fereidooni company. He participated in a Train the Trainers workshop on hydrocarbon refrigerants at the Iran Technical and Vocational Training Organization ITC Karaj in July 2019. Two-and-a-half years later, we would like to know how the training has influenced his work.

For this Cool Talk, we had the opportunity to interview Mr. Ghorbankhanlou, a representative of Enjemad System Gharb Tehran.
The company is a large manufacturer of commercial refrigerators and refrigeration equipment used in chain stores and supermarkets. Enjemad’s staff has more than 40 years of experience in the field and is committed to produce quality products in accordance with the most advanced international standards.
Mr. Ghorbankhanlou has a long job history at Enjemad and currently works as a sales expert and trainer. In 2019, he participated in a GIZ Training of Trainers workshop at ITC Karaj (Iran Technical and Vocational Training Organization).
