The Ministry of the environment and sustainable development (MINEDD) is responsible for the implementation and follow-up to the policy of the Government on the protection of the environment, improvement of the framework of life and sustainable development.
Through the National Ozone Unit, the MINEDD is implementing at the national level the Vienna Convention for the protection of the ozone layer and to the Montreal Protocol on substances that Deplete the ozone layer.
