India’s first manufacturer to convert to hydrocarbons
Godrej was the first Indian company to manufacture hydrocarbon fridges in the 1990s. In 2012, Godrej & Boyce Mfg. Co. Ltd. launched a new production line for split air-conditioners using propane (HC-290). The new models consume less energy than the current models with the highest energy efficiency ratings from other brands available in India.
