On June 23rd, over 40 experts in the field of refrigeration and air conditioning (RAC) and other related fields gathered at the Proklima Expert Talk of the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH to discuss and exchange experiences and perspectives on future trends, challenges and opportunities in the key action fields of green cooling and sustainable development.
©GIZIn light of the Agenda 2030 and ambitious global climate targets, a strong multi-stakeholder network is required to pursue a market transition to green RAC technologies. To that end, the central part of the Expert Talk revolved around a panel discussion whereby international public and private sector partners shared their experiences and perspectives on sustainable cooling. Panelists included representatives from a Sri Lankan environmental pioneer hotel group, a German green RAC manufacturer and from the Environmental Protection Agency Ghana.
The event was characterized by an enthusiastic exchange between all participants, and different perspectives on sustainable cooling were shared and discussed. Without doubt, GIZ Proklima's future portfolio development holds many new ideas, opportunities, and challenges!
