About our Cool Training

The aim of the Cool Training is to provide comprehensive knowledge and capacity for the operation and maintenance of cooling technology using propane, CO2 and ammonia. The Cool Training allows RAC experts and trainers from developing countries and emerging economies to advance their expertise towards a sustainable path and act as local multipliers in their countries and regions. Around 300 trainers, lecturers, representatives of National Ozone Units (NOU) as well as implementing agencies from 63 countries have officially been cool-trained.

New features

Participants can soon look forward to an expanded offer. We are currently producing explanatory videos on refrigeration basics and the safe handling of natural refrigerants.

These videos, accessible online, are the perfect supplement to the Cool Training sessions on site. Webinars, which will also be published on an e-learning plattform, will complement the offer. Thus, participants have a new basis to prepare for and follow up the training.

With this e-learning possibility, we want to make our Cool Training available from anywhere in the world and further expand awareness for natural refrigerants. Green Cooling is essential to keep us and our planet cool - and can only be implemented if technicians are trained to handle natural refrigerants properly and safely.
